Piquante Peanut Butter Sauce

You will need:

Small pot or sauce pan with cover
Coffee grinder
All Natural peanut butter with no added sugar, salt or preservatives
Jalapeño pepper
Fresh garlic
Whole, dried, cardamon pods
Lemon juice


1/3 C      All natural peanut butter

1/3 C      Cold pressed peanut oil

1/8 C      Tamari soy sauce

18            Ground cardamon pods

1               Large clove fresh garlic, chopped

1               Sliced Jalapeño pepper

1               Shot Arak

Dash of lemon juice

Stevia, honey or sugar

Dried ground spices:

Pinch            Sweet paprika

Dash              Red chili peppers

Dash              Ground black pepper

Pinch             Turmeric

Water to fill half a pot and as needed.


Put peanut butter and peanut oil in pot, add chopped garlic and Tamari soy sauce and stir while heating and browning. Add remaining spices and ingredients.

Bring to boil and lower flame (I recommend using a flame tamer). Cover pot and let simmer for 30 – 60 minutes. Water level should be at approximately half a pot.
